Vertiv’s regional leaders for Latin America will discuss the new paradigms resulting from digital transformation
Santiago, Chile [March 3, 2021] – Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, announced its first live event of the year, to be held on March 11, “Trends: The Future of the Data Center Industry, Channel and Services in 2021.”
The broadcast will feature regional leaders from Vertiv in Latin America discussing the major business forces impacting data centers. The focus of the talks will be the increasingly essential need for critical digital infrastructure in order to be prepared when challenges arise. The discussion will encompass topics including sales and services, operations and channel supporting the region.

Discussion will also highlight the shift from large data centers to small and edge-of-network spaces, and accompanying energy consumption challenges for industry that comes with it. The technology superhighway has been an area of major focus for business and industry for some time. In mid-2020, the OAS and the IDB published a study highlighting how the pandemic accelerated digitalization in Latin America, achieving progress in three months that was expected to take three years. The discussion is of particular relevance as experts in the area will share their views on IT challenges that will impact the industry, channels and services in the coming months.
